DOWIE DOOLE is an artisan wine producer in the stunning region of McLaren Vale. Established in 1995 by renowned grape growers and champions of sustainable viticulture; Drew Dowie and Norm Doole, DOWIE DOOLE is now led by Chief Winemaker Chris Thomas. The team are committed to crafting regionally distinctive wines that uphold a sense of place. The founders believed that wine is more than a drink, it is a form of art in a bottle… a legacy that continues to this day.

DOWIE DOOLE’s Estate vineyard in McLaren Vale is biodynamic in conversion and is comprised of 53 hectares of undulating and picturesque landscape, primarily planted to classic McLaren Vale varietals including Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and over 50-year-old bush vine Grenache. Select parcels of fruit are also sourced from the founders’ vineyards in McLaren Vale and the Adelaide Hills. The strength of DOWIE DOOLE is the suite of distinctive, premium vineyards that the winemaker can draw upon. Once harvested, the grapes are hand crafted into premium wines with minimal intervention.
